I am deeply grateful to John for leading me to a vegan (WFPB) diet in 1992, with his book “Diet For a New America”. Thanks Ocean, for letting us listen to him once more. I feel very sad that he’s gone.

I am a woman living in Colombia, S.A. who has known the Robbins for the past years and have admired both, father and son, who speak authentically and teach what they practice. Their story as a new age family is an example for humanity and specially for the shift your american society needs in its life style and I rest assured your legacy is and will help your country and humanity as many others in this movement to overcome our actual crisis. After watching I felt the Love and admiration, and so much respect. I’m new to the food revolution. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I truly feel the Love and compassion, the Heart and soul of your voices. I found that when I lost My Dad to heart disease and a mom to cancer It took many years for me to let go of the anger of not being able to help them live a healthier lifestyle. I think when John was sharing how he would look at all of the positive aspects rather than dwelling in the Negatives that inspired me to look at life differently. Ocean thank you .

I was quite saddened today to learn about the passing of John. I have been inspired and learned from John and Ocean for many years through his and Ocean’s work and advocacy for a healthier and better world and have struggled for many years with my health journey and injuries, while being a healer myself, and the shame that comes with that when you do all you know to do and it does not seem to be enough or we just haven’t figured out the answer yet, though ultimately nature and time always win, one way or another.
I so appreciate the many people who are like minded and see a better way and are willing to work towards making that happen. John’s light and presence will be missed by me and many others. I appreciate that you shared this personal struggle with all of us and hope you all find peace in time. There has been so much loss in the world of many wonderful teachers and friends these past several years. Even though I am saddened for myself (and this planet) to lose another touchstone of goodness and positivity in our lives, I am grateful that the Food Revolution Network and Ocean will continue to be with us. Sending you and your family love and healing.

Sending blessings to the Robbins family from Ethiopia Food Revolution Network is making me conscious of healthy living since I began watching John and Ocean Robbins teachings. My mother who's seventy, major caretaker of the family is unwell. Yes, I am facing with difficult situation I couldn't change: mom's stroke because of neck artery blockage due to Stenosis. Dealing with the expectations especially changing eating habits is overwhelming. May we all strive to become healthy living people for better world

The name of John Robbins’ first book: “Love Over Money”, says it all for me, where his Heart has been all along, setting the highest quality & standard of living life on this Planet, having love & compassion for our fellow human beings. That is what has been most inspiring, the choices that this man had made over 77 years, to put love of self & of others, before all else, including money, is beautiful, amazing in its purest concept & fulfillment over this man’s lifetime. Wow, we are all blessed to have had John Robbins set the wonderful standard for us to follow, & to benefit from, and as others have said, that will continue to bless this planet for centuries to come!! Thank you Sir, for your teachings, & thank you to his devoted son Ocean, for continuing in your Father’s famous & beautiful footsteps & examples.

My brother has PPS and is still secretive and not willing to talk about it. Swimming is the exercise he can do & is committed too. His attitude and level of anger is our family struggle. His wife increfibly gets through each day with my difficult brother ( who is an MD , brilliant , well read & knowledgeable on many subjects , a man of conviction & faith only allowing his compassionate & grateful self surface at this point in life.
Your willingness to be vulnerable & share your personal struggle is inspirational. I hope my brother hears your message of living life to its fullest in spite of PPS.
